Yes, I'd appreciate that , since I get the PI, I probably won't get the

follow-up articles. I was pleased with the balanced reporting job that was

done. It's good to know the ups and downs of the surgery, and that it isn't

a cure-all. People need to know that, and not be on a big pink cloud about

the surgery. It's a wonderful tool, but that's all it is! Thanks !

I know Jess and Leo well (I started the EMOSS support group, which is referenced

in the article several times) back in 2001. The thing that amazes me most about

the article is how balanced it is. The reporter did a great job. Better still,

he's going to keep following their progress (along with Betty the photographer)

:-) for the Seattle Times and they are going to do follow-up articles. Jacque, I

can post the links here if y'all want to see them; there will be two more

articles, one today (Monday) and one tomorrow.

Thought you might enjoy this article in the Seattle Times about this couple

that had WLS together in January. I felt it was a very fair article.

Yes, please do ....I would really appreciate that. Some part seemed to

be missing to me in the original article. All of a sudden it " cuts " to

people bringing meatballs and comfort foods.....I caught on that it was a

meeting but it didn't make sense......oh well, I'll have to look it over

again......thanks, P.
