I had upper jaw & genio surgery at the beginning of May this year. I

had the upper brace removed 3 weeks ago. I had an appointment with

orthodontist today & I expected that I would find out when bottom

brace would be removed. Well, it was removed today & a really small

wire was glued to the back of my teeth. Its really comfy. Then my

ortho told me that my next appointment is in 12 months time. At

first I was a bit sad as I really enjoy my vists - the staff are

really friendly. Then since I got home I've been singing & dancing &

generally annoying my family - I'm soooo happy. I didn't expect

everything to move so quickly. Just wanted to post this message to

offer some hope to those who are recently post op. I know the pain

is bad & its not a nice experience for the 1st few weeks - but in

next to no time everything is back to normal - I can't believe

it!!! xx
