Guest guest
Good thing about C is that there is no toxic dose! You know you need to cut back when you get loose stools. My little ones are taking 2000-4000mg with no problems. There is a ton of research on vitamin C. > > I didn't realize this.... vitamin C and vitam E help to regenerate glutathione.... interesting! > > Colleen, > > Have you watched this Dr. Usman video yet? Guest guest
Interesting. Our nightime vitamin is E, C and Zinc, which it is obvious we are deficient in. > > I didn't realize this.... vitamin C and vitam E help to regenerate glutathione.... interesting! > > Colleen, > > Have you watched this Dr. Usman video yet? Guest guest
Interesting thing on zinc. You all know by now that I like to talk to a lot of different professionals. Homeopathic, Nurtritionists, MDs, etc. Well yesterday, I went back to the apothacary to get Charlie more zinc because he dumped the entire bottle on the floor the other day right after we got back from getting it. Stupid me left it on the counter. Well anyway, I went back yesterday and explained to the guy who makes the apothacary about Charlie's big issue with the mal absorbsion with zinc. I told him we were giving him 1ml 2x per day since Sept and his hair samples explained that he is still deficient. So what should the gosh darn dosage be, as if you give too much you are flirting with potassium, I think or some other vitamin or mineral. This gentleman did a lovely chemical break down for me and told me to make sure he had nothing metallic in him around the time he is taking it or else it wont absorb. So he advised me to give him a teaspoon of vinegar 1/2 hour prior to taking zinc and that way it will absorb. Said not to change the dosage because it should absorb. Interesting. Anyone heard of this? On Monday, I am going to take Charlie's labs to him and give him a peek. [ ] Re: Research day Interesting. Guest guest
Colleen, There are about 25 or so webcast lectures on autism.com and most are well worth watching. They are straight from the DAN conferences and are loaded with information on every topic imagineable. You really get a good feel for the different DAN approaches as well. I spent probably a week mesmerized at the computer watching all of them this summer. Guest guest
Just a warning. I didthe same after Janice mentioned them. Informative...yes. Still, not something you want to do in one sitting...very depressing. > > Colleen, > > There are about 25 or so webcast lectures on autism.com and most are well worth watching.
