Guest guest
Dear Doug, I have finally found relief from my ocular rosacea. I began by soaking my evelids with a very warm washcloth (for 5 minutes) each morning, then massaging them to help clear the glands. At night for about 3 weeks I used Tobradex (prescription ointment of antibiotic and steriod) rubbed lightly on the eyelash area. I began taking Barleans brand Flax seed oil (3 at breakfast and 3 at lunch) and 4 capsules of Kyolic Garlic (to help prevent infections) and my eyes feel completely normal for the first time in a long time. Now I just do the Flax seed oil capsules, garlic capsules, and soak my eyes every other day or so and I am maintaining just fine. I feel the Barleans flax seed capsules are what really made the difference, with the eye soaks. My opthamologist said it helps about 75% of his patients. Nice to go the natural route, the antibiotics caused problems with my insides. Hope that helps!
