Hi guys! As my surgery date draws closer I find myself getting more

and more frightened of it. I have yet to receive even a PAMPHLET

about my surgery and I'm very anxious to know what I could be doing

now?! I have read somewhere that taking iron pills is a good idea so

I started doing that last month and I'm going to take a multivitamin

as well, but is this enough? My mother said that doing deep

breathing exercises help you recover better from the anesthesia(sp?)

and they helped her when she had knee surgery years ago.

Any other suggestions pre-oppers??? What were you told prior to your

surgery?

Thanks ~ I have been so nervous and worried that I haven't even been

on here very often to read posts:( I'm glad to hear that the August

surgeries seem to have gone well! I will spend some time over the

next couple weeks going over the posts and writing info down.
