Guest guest
Hi everyone, It has now been exactly a week since my surgery. I'm starting to look better - less swelling, less bruising - but I'm also feeling worse and worse. Luckily my drugs make me really sleepy, so I get to nap a lot during the day. Anyway, as I was feeling incredibly bad the other day, I recieved something in the mail that really cheered me up! It was a single card, signed by a group of 5 different friends that live all over Canada! It was such a thoughful gift and it really made me smile =) I think the very most important part of healing is having support from the ones you love. So, that lead me to ask the question - What were some of the special things your friends and family have done for you during the whole surgery process? Might be a nice light topic that will let us all get a smile from the thoughfulness of others =) On another note, I posted some more pictures at groups.msn.com/LeasJawSurgery, or in the Photos section under Lea. One week down, several more to go! Yay! =) Lea
