I've managed to survive ok away from dermatologists. If you want to go on

roaccutane you have to see a derm, but otherwise there may not be any

reason to see one - unless you can find one with a special interest in

rosacea of course.

I have gotten by with the support of my GP. He has been willing to listen

and give me whatever I ask (mind you I haven't ever asked for anything

exotic). My GP is currently reading Dr. Nase's book, so should hopefully

be more clued on rosacea next time I see him.

I have been to see Phil Swarbrick and Tim Elliot over the years. Reply for

more info if you are interested. I guess you have seen the list of our 24

derms at http://www.dermcoll.asn.au/find_a_dermatologist.asp Quite a few

list their areas of interest as acne in the referral books, so that

doesn't help at all.

I'd be interested to know if you get any replies more helpful than mine ;)
