What a bummer!

I don't know anything about this, I'm sorry. I assume that you are in

contact with the places where the research is being done, or that

your docs are.

I'm wondering whether an orthopedist might have any answers to your

questions... Just a thought.

Good wishes to you, and I hope it gets resolved for you. I reckon,

though, that you should be glad that you folks found out about this

before surgery, rather than after.
