Guest guest
Well the verdict will be in tomorrow after I visit the surgeon. The doc's post op considered opinion is that it's an abscessed suture issue that may have been dormant for a long time and just decided to quit smoldering and erupt. After getting a couple of phone calls yesterday....(thanks ladies!!) I did say something to when she returned and she took it upon herself to beat me about the head and shoulders until I finally got through to the doc. His opinion of the emergency room was one that if I had ANY inklings about what he considered to an infection that was swooping in to put me at risk, I would have some of the symptoms that he asked about. Rather and instead he's put time aside for a look, poke, prod and most likely a large needle to finish the job. As well as a glowing report to take along to the PS the following week! Maybe if I'm lucky...and the insurors are willing to listen to reason, I'll be sans a navel in a couple of months...as well as a deflated tire.<G> Dan rny 10.13.98 EdWaits,MD-Atlanta
