No, I don't think lower would affect it at all. Getting your upper

can change the relation of your sinus cavity and therefore affect the

nasal resonance of your voice. Advancing the lower would have no

effect on this, but as always it's best to run it by your doc.

i've been wondering the same thing because i'm a singer and suppose to have

upper/lower/genio. let me know if you find out anything.

It's possible. I know that my throat was somewhat restricted and the

lower advancement corrected that. I also had upper impaction

(upper/lower/genio) and people tell me that my voice is a bit lower

now. I know I can hit some lower notes (car singer) as a result.

Most people don't experience a change in their voices, though.

You could ask your surgeon this question.
