why do a lot of people have nose bandages?

i've noticed that in some of the post-op photos people have a nose bandage

over the bridge of their nose. what is that for? thanks,

alex, it's not a bandage it's a breath right strip, like the football

players use. it opens up the nasal valves cuz you're pretty stuffed up

after surgery. eric
