The name of the jaw implant product is hydroxyapatite. They can make

a form fitting implant from a CT of your jawline. It is the same

product my doc uses to rebuild occular and skull parts on his

reconstructive patients.

As for getting a second opinion, never a bad idea, but if your doc

did a good job on the orthognathic surgery and he will wave his fee

for the implant surgery, why not stay with him? We all know that

this entire surgical process is a series of steps that don't happen

over night. My doctor did the major surgery first and now the " fine-

tuning " .
