Just reading the post from the veteran and for those considering

surgery, my surgeon was also a plastic surgeon at Stanford, his name

is Dr Schendel. He and my ortho, Dr Linck, also partner to

do reconstructive surgery on children and adults with clef palates

and I have seen a few of the children, it's amazing. Besides being

a gifted surgeon, Dr Schendel is such a lovely man and from the

instant I sat down with him and talked about the surgery I was

comfortable. Both Drs Schendel and Linck are very professional but

have also that comforting side that isn't afraid to give a hug when

you need one and I happened to need a few.

If anyone is having surgery in the Palo Alto area, Dr. Schendel is

board-certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Plastic

Surgery, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a

Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics.
