Experiencing sharp pain in my palate

Just wondering if any other members have experienced pain in there

palate after having their upper and/or lower jaw moved.

I just had both jaws moved forward. I am about 10 days post op. When

I swallow I feel a sharp pain in my upper palate. Sometimes along

with the pain I feel as though a bone shifted and then returned to

its original position.

I can avoid the pain and the bone shifting sensation associated with

swollowing if I apply outward pressure to my upper teeth with my

tongue or if I clench my teeth while I swallow.

Any replies would be much appreciated.
