Guest guest
Rose, dear . . . You said " I need to stay away from carbs and sugar " , but don't you know that 1 cup of 2% milk cantains 12 grams of sugar? That's twice my limit for sugars/meal. It makes me dump. It prolly would have made you dump, if you hadn't been drinking it for aome time. PLEASE go to Vitalady.com, get some good quality protein shakes, with which you can get in 30 grams of *PROTEIN*, and 5 grams of sugar or *less*. Depending on what you choose/like, many have no sugar. They concentrates contain a little sugar, but I find them more satisfying . . . The milk will bit you in the butt (ok, more literally, it will stick to your butt!) eventually. , who wants you to be *very* successful! Subject: RE: eating post op i am not sure exactly how much i drink. I just know that i dont like to eat much but have no problem drinking milk. for the last two days I have drank more water less juice but about the same milk. By the way I drink 2% milk. I think I know what I need to do. I need to keep a journal to help me see exactly what I am consuming. I need to stay away from carbs and sugar. I need to start a walking routine. I went shopping yesterday and bought alot of fruits, veg, and soups. I think this will help. Thanks for the support. Rose Hawkridge in Washington State.
