Since starting the " 30 day Bock Challenge " on Feb. 12 I've gone from 208 to 198.5. The " Challenge " is based on the " Keys to Success " - a handout that Dr. Bock gives to all his patients: http://www.sabariatric.com/keys_to_success1.htm Here's what I'm doing: Rules for 30 Day Bock Challenge: 1. Three meals a day (solid protein-based), NO DRINKING at mealtime 2. NO SNACKING, NIBBLING or GRAZING between meals 3. Meal plan: SOLID PROTEIN first (chicken, fish, beef), then ok to add veggies, fruit, carbs 4. NO LIQUIDS with your meal 5. NO LIQUIDS for TWO HOURS after each meal. 6. EXERCISE at least 5 days/week, goal, of 45 min. total 7. WATER (or zero cal liquids): DRINK LOTS between meals, starting 2 hrs. after each meal, and up to 15 min. before the next meal, including a " WATER LOAD " 15 min. before eating. Will keep you posted.
