Hi ,

Regarding the lips...I had a horrible time after surgery with my

lips, lots of cracking, swollen, horrible. I had to use an

antibiotic cream to help with the sores, they healed in a week, but

then I used a product called Carmex and it really helped with the

dryness. My skin felt like leather after the 5 hour surgery, it was

horrible. When I was finally able to use one of those nose strips

that removes dead skin I did and then bought myself a really nice

scrub and used it every day. I've always taken such good care of my

skin, I was anxious to get it back to normal quickly. Anaesthetic

takes an affect on everything!

I don't know how quickly you will be able to go back to teaching

dance but your surgeon will give you the go ahead. I'm 7 weeks post

surgery from upper/lower/chin and I've been pretty lazy on the

formal exercising but I do chase after a 3 and a 4.5 year old on a

daily basis.

Good luck with the molds tomorrow, it will be over quickly.
