Guest guest
I avoid having the tops of my breads split open by cutting a shallow slice into the top of the bread before baking. That sort of determines how/where the bread will split. The best results I've had is to cut a line length wise down the bread about 1/2 inch in from both sides of the pan. It doesn't have to be a very deep cut. To prevent holes in the bread, preheat your oven for at least 10 minutes before baking. I've been doing both steps with good results. Hope this helps. Guest guest
My nutritionist said that we aren't to eat white bread but that we should have a slice of low fat wheat bread occasionally.. Why isn't she worried about carbs? Allan Lap Rny 12-15-03 312 / 270 / --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).
