Guest guest
Hi Mom , will do just fine. She is young and will bounce back quickly. It is very scary. I had mine 5 weeks ago and was scared to death. But the doctors are very skilled in what they do. The first day for me was bad. I was in ICU with a catheter. I couldn't drink even with a syringe. After 1 1/2 days, I got out of ICU and was able to get out of that terrible hospital gown, wash my face, and put on my own PJs. The doc let me go home to my babies once I could show him I could drink. So, I was determined to get liquid down with that syringe. After about a week, I was able to eat soft food. But, each person is different. Now, the OS says he wants me to chew. I am but I get tired doing it and get headaches. It really isn't that bad now that I look back on it, but for the first couple of weeks, I was wondering why the heck I did this. But now I am just waiting for some swelling in my cheeks to go away and for the numbness to go away too. And I can't wait to get my brac! es off and show off my new smile!
