Guest guest
Hi Cammie: I'm glad the spray bottle helped out. I haven't had the dry mouth this time, totally forgot about it until you mentioned it. I'm not numb at all this time inside my mouth so it's like an entire new ball game plus no shifting of jaws so my tongue isn't swollen & hasn't been moved so I could drink out of a cup right away. Feeling good & trying to be patient but you know how hard that is. I " should " recover quicker this time around but it's still aggravating since I can't tell what I will look like. Glad to hear you still have that new & improved bite. We sure go through a lot to get what others take for granted. Well hopefully I can get to sleep now. Last time the stuff they knocked me out with screwed up my sleeping big time. I've been sleeping better this time round as they didn't have to keep me under so long. But my hours are still messed up! Good night, Georgia Georgia -- how fare you? I've been a bit out of the loop myself in the last couple of weeks. You still had a great idea, in my book, about the time when you had dry mouth and got the spray bottle of water to take wherever. I am just same old me, more or less. A lot older, not much wiser, a lot deeper in debt. But grinning none the less with a mouth that works! Blobs are good people, too. I am one, frequently, myself! And I haven't had surgery... Take care, be patient -- be a patient patient, which is the hardest of all to do... I know. Good to hear from you again. Cammie Well I had all but one screw removed Wed. (the doc said one was embedded with tissue & bone & skipped it) I also had jaw implants put in. Can't tell a darn thing yet cause I'm almost as swollen as I was after the upper & lower jaw surgery. But it's better this time cause I can swallow & eat soft foods. They tried every trick in the book & I still threw up. But today has been good except for a slight fever that I have kept under control. Will post a pic of my new jawline when I can see it. Right now I'm just a blob. Oh well, my old photos are still in the photo section from the first surgery with my ending photos of how I looked a year later under files. I hope the jawline looks good this time around cause I sure don't want to go through this again. I can tell how it looks near the ears & I'm happy, but can't see how it will look otherwise. I'm tired of being swollen already. Georgia

Guest guest
Oh, Georgia! It sounds as though things are going so much better for you, and I am delighted. Second-time-around folks are especially entitled to the easy recovery I had, I think! Take care, Cammie > Hi Cammie: > I'm glad the spray bottle helped out.
