tom, good to hear all is going well. doc told me i would also have a

little scar on outside but managed to be able to get screws in from

inside. it all depends if they can reach the ramus without doing nerve

damage. eric

Hi Tom,

No incisions. My surgeon did everything from the inside. Some don't,

it's apparently because they think they'll get a better angle

screwing in from the outside. Most don't have noticeable scars

afterwards.

Try rubbing vitamin e oil on it (break open a capsule) - it's good

for healing skin abrasions.

Congrats on being released from your splint and into new food

opportunities!

Hi Tom,

No incisions. My surgeon did everything from the inside. Some don't,

it's apparently because they think they'll get a better angle

screwing in from the outside. Most don't have noticeable scars

afterwards.

Try rubbing vitamin e oil on it (break open a capsule) - it's good

for healing skin abrasions.

Congrats on being released from your splint and into new food

I had two tiny cuts, Tom -- one on each side, down by the jawbone. I

didn't have any scars at all.

Try vitamin E oil (I'm assuming that the cuts have healed over by

now). It has really helped with scars in other spots. I didn't need

it for those tiny incisions on my face.
