Guest guest
I just wanted to share this because I'm so happy =). My doctor gave me permission to chew on soft stuff this weekend (beginning of week 6). It's such an amazing experience to chew again, now that I know how it feels to both chew and not chew. Everything still isn't back to normal, as I still can't chew hard stuff or tough meat, but I finally feel like I'm getting there. As is the case with other people who have had surgery with around the same time (Oct 5), the left side of my chin is still numb, and I get those phantom twinges every once in a while. Hope everyone had a good weekend!
