gratitude list

It dawned on me late yesterday that I have been increasingly more

aggatated lately. It seems that everybody is gripping at everybody. I

certainly know my buttons are being pushed a lot easier lately. It

occured to me that I had not done a gratitude list in a long time. So, I

would like to share a gratitude list in hopes that others would be

willing to jump on the band wagon. (Sorry that I am cross posting but

it seems appropriate for each list I am on right now.)

I am grateful for the surgery I had.

I am grateful for the skill of my surgeons.

I am grateful I am alive today.

I am grateful that I am no longer in a wheelchair.

I am grateful that I no longer need a walker and very seldom need a cane.

I am grateful for my friends on and off these lists.

I am grateful that spring has finally sprung.

I am grateful for my ability to get out of bed every day.

I am grateful I do not need to take meds everyday for arthritis.

I am grateful my disability was approved.

I am grateful people still love me when I am a complete jerk.

I am grateful I am not always a complete jerk.

I am grateful for my family.

I am grateful to be an American, no matter how imperfect our system may

feel.

I am grateful that there are people willing to fight for my freedom.

Thank you for letting me share.

Chandra, thanks for sharing. It always amazes me how much more I have to

be grateful for then what I have to be grumpy for. With me, it has

become a choice. I know that if I am angry, it is because I am choosing

to be that way. That is why I love doing gratitude lists. Puts my mind

in it's proper perspective. Lori O.
