Guest guest
I hear Aruba is in jeopardy from Ivan. Are you OK? I also hear Tampa area of Florida, where we have DEAR friends, is about to be hit again. More worries. I don't want us, in coastal Alabama to be hit at all. Still more worries. I HATE hurricane season, and will be wishing good things for you. Sigh. I wish wishes could dissolve these nasty things. Guest guest
Hey Cammie, Aruba is ok, we just got the brush of Ivan and that means rain, some winds and a very brutal ocean. All of this is very rare for Aruba, we never ever have any bad weather, let alone hurricanes. Luckily we did not have any problems with the wind, just with the rain. Today I am not working because some areas of Aruba had flooding and they are asking everyone to stay at home in order not to bother firemen pumping the water away from certain areas. I'm sure that if we had a decent sewer system we would not have any problems with the rain either. I am also hoping the hurricane will not do any more damage, it's heading for Jamaica now, everyone stay safe...
