Guest guest
Hey , I'm in elastics until I get the braces off, which at this point looks to be another six months. The elastics are pulling my teeth into final alignment vertically. The way my OD and OS worked it out my teeth were touching at the back and front after my OS was through with me, and the elastics are pulling my lower middle teeth up to match the level of the rest of my teeth. I feel for you with the 11 month old. Mine are all older, but that only means I have to hurry and finish eating so I can help with homework, help clean the kitchen, help... (you get the picture). It is easier when you can talk with the child and communicate what you want/need, but with 3, it's always a zone defense around our house! My numbness isn't too bad. I have just over half my chin, from my lips to my jawline, that is still numb. Some of it is sensitive to sharp touches, some feels dull, and some is completely numb. But I saw my OS this morning and he says that all the area that has any numbness is controlled by the same nerve, and some of the areas are sensitive to sharpness, so there is an excellent chance it will all come back over time. But, I still do chew on my tongue sometimes! LOL Take care and continued great healing! Dammit > > > > , thank you so much for your encouragement.
