Guest guest
well it's been an interesting two weeks, that's for sure. but it's back to school tomorrow and back to work on friday. i don't know if i'm quite ready...but i don't think i'll have too difficult of a time. haha...my biggest worry is eating in public. i still seem to make a bit of a mess when i eat. like when i'm eating yogurt. since i can't open my mouth much. i take the spoon and kinda use my upper lip to scrape it off...then kinda suck it through into my mouth. of course you can imagine how much i get on my lips and face...but it works. but i'd feel kinda silly doing this out in public. maybe i'll just stick with protein shakes when i'm away from home. i'm sick of them...but i'll avoid the embarrassment!! my OS was able to grind my splint down in the back of my mouth...that was some killer pain! but i was disappointed to find out i have to wear it for another 2 weeks. it's frustrating trying to talk with it in...hopefully all my professors will be understanding. and since i'm still dealing with insomnia probs...my OS decided to give me ambien to try...since the valium just made me jittery. well ambien is supposed to be the most effective sleep aid prescribed...so i was really looking forward to a good nights sleep. well even after taking it...i was still wide awake all night...hmmm. but i'm hoping that once i get back into school and work...it'll use some more of my energy and i'll be more tired. but all and all...things are progressing pretty well i think.
