A special thanks to Fay, , and

Barbara - for your info and concern.

They kept me in the ER for about 3 hours. I was quite dehydrated and

was given 2 IV's,

as well as a shot for headache pain. They drew

some blood, and did basic labs, which were

'perfect' according the the physician and nurse.

I was sent home with a prescription for Amidrine for headache pain - to

be taken up to

4 times a day. They said I needed rest and lots

of liquids.

We moved from Alaska (30 + years) to Idaho,

four months ago. I am scheduled to see a new

doctor (female) next Tuesday for a yearly

physical and labs - I will also schedule a

dexa-scan. My husband has seen her, so I

have met her - told her a little about myself, and

that I have had a gastric bypass. She does

know a lot about it, but is willing to learn. I feel

very comfortable about her. Will let you all know how I make out next

week. I have also

found a wonderful support group in Sandpoint,

which is a half hour drive from where I live.

They are very knowledgeable and supportive.

Tonite I am feeling so much better. I am planning to take it slow and

easy over the next

few days - and drink plenty of liquids. I have

green tea beside me now, a container of water

on my bedside table, and a pitcher of Crystal

Light in the refrigerator. Plenty of Protein and

supplements on hand also.

Warmly, Joannie
