Exercise...run over by a trainer

I love all this talk about exercise...I was one of those people that

really hasn't exercised on a regular basis since surgery almost 3

years ago. Over the last year I have gained weight from my lowest

weight of 143. It has become glaringly evident that watching my diet

and not exercising WILL NOT keep the weight off. So I had been

talking about going back to the gym (have been a member for 3 years

probably haven't been in a about a year) and possibly getting a

trainer.

Guess what my husband got me for Valentine's day.....6 sessions with

a trainer. When I tell people what I got for Valentine's day they

kind of laugh...but I thought it was an excellent gift...he really

wasn't trying to tell me something...just trying to make me happy.

I had my first session on Tuesday and my second session last night.

Needless to say I feel like I have been run over by a truck

today...but I am feeling SO much better about myself. I just

couldn't lift my arms to blowdry my hair this morning...was sad.

I guess what I am trying to say is....there are very few people that

can get away without exercising after surgery, you will have to

exercise to keep your weight off.
