Guest guest
Well grandma might have got run over buy a reindeer but got run over by as SUV. Yes I am totally serious, but my condition is not as grave. I was riding my bike home from my parents and a lady in a SUV failed to see me and ran me down. I have a scraped up left hand that is making typing this real hard, and my right side is bruised up one side and down the other if you know what I mean. I can barely move my right leg. But the x-rays revealed no breaks. Doctors said I need several days of bed rest and that the pain will get worse before it gets better. I was just starting to really get conditioned for my bike riding. In fact I rode around White Rock Lake twice in a row Saturday and we made good time. For those of you not familiar with the area that is about a 25 mile ride. The cool part is I was not worn out. The guy who rode with me said I rode as well as some one who had been training for a year. I only just started riding in March! ((Cross country))The bike is really smashed up. It did not do as well as I did. I am sure the insurance company will buy me a new one. The people at the lake that I had made the comment that they looked like Olympic hopefuls, well my friend recognized them and some of them really are Olympic athletes. The fact that I could keep them in sight for 1/2 the way around the lake is terrific news to me. Wonder how long it will take me to train back up to that level. I also wonder if the insurance co will buy me a new bike or pay to have this one fixed. I am kind of hoping they buy a new one and let me keep the old. Then I will fix the old myself and have two bikes. Check out my website http://home.attbi.com/~ayoder/index.htm Pager FOR (SHORT 200 chars or less messages) use 9723560580@...
