Guest guest
I stopped loosing weight at 7 months out, and have not lost any additional weight the past 4 months. When I was sick with pneumonia at the 7th month, I had lost a little over 100 pounds, then when I got well a month later I gained about 5 pounds back, and have not changed weight since then. I thought the weight was supposed to continue to be lost for about 18 months; did anyone else stop loosing at 7 months? Has anyone's plateau lasted 4 months? I had my first plateau at 6 weeks out and this lasted until week 12...after this I had more plateaus, but none lasted over 6 weeks like the first had...until this 4 month Plateau started...what's up with this? Anyone have any insight into why I am experienceing these so often? Any suggestions for jump-starting the process towards loosing weight again? Guess I should give a time-line...Surgery 4/28/03 with gastrectomy + Open Roux-en-Y...no weight loss since November 2003.
