Hi, visited with OS yesterday and although i walk into his office

and everyone tells me how great i look (yes, marked improvements),

we spent most of our time talking about a possible screw removal and

a chin implant.

I have finally posted pictures under " - off center chin "

Please take a look and offer feedback.

Dr. said he would only remove screw if i REALLY wanted it done,

other than that he would prefer to leave it alone. it is RIGHT below

my orbital socket, to the side of my nose.

When we started discussing my assymetry issues, which by the way

WERE present prior to surgery, he and i talked about an implant. he

said he would not do anything until at least a year, fine by me. i

told him that i did not think that most people noticed the assymetry

while looking at me (this is my guess), but that in pictures it was

really obvious. i think you will agree when you look at photos. i

feel as though i spent all this time prepping for surgery

emotionally, financially, etc and i don't want to be in a position

of not wanting pictures taken of me! and that is how i feel with

the way it is now. MAJOR improvements in gummy smile and chin

profile. i just wish the assymetry was noticed by surgeon prior to

surgery so that it could have been corrected then. oh well. it's

hard to imagine what an implant will do, but i can only hope it will

balance me out a little more. OH, i forgot to mention, during our

discussion the DR. said that if this is what we decide i would pay

for implant and he would perform surgery for free, that he just

wants me to " be happy " . my eyes started tearing up, really.

thanks for looking and offering feedback. Happy healing. katie
