Guest guest
Hi Chasta, I had gastric Bypass about 15 months ago and did not make it to gaol yet but will later, I am currently pregnant with my 4th child, I have twins and a single but have had years of infertility myself. I am on another group for people who are pregnant or trying to get pregnant after gastric bypass and let me tell you, there are many, many pregnant women on that group who have PCOS and are pregnant. Some are early postop and pregnant because they never thought they would get pregnant so soon. I am going to give you the name of this group so you can go into yahoo and sign up, read the archives for past post and see for yourself the success. It is NOT all that hard to take care of yourself after surgery either. Try to wait at least a year before getting prego so you can be sure you can eat enough for you and baby ( good foods, not junk ) and make sure you can get in your vitamins your water or fluids like crystal light, diet koolaid. We really are not much different than any other woman when we get pregnant after surgery as long as you wait at least the year, most docs recommend 18-24 months but for sure the one year is the most standard from the docs. Good Luck with everything. Here is the addy to the group of pregos and trying OSSG-pregnant@... God Bless, HUGS, ROBIN, NY Age- 41 Due Date- #4 July 27th, 2004 OPEN RNY 10-18-02 378/246/170???
