I would like to ask the collective group for any heads up on what I can

expect. I am having my fourth hernia surgery next Wednesday, and my surgeon

has called in a PS to close me up. He told me he is doing a " complex

surgical closure of an abdominal wound " but basically he is cutting the skin

off between my two scars and removing all the excess skin below, in effect a

TT. I had my last hernia surgery February '02. If anyone has any hints,

things that I may need, etc., I would really appreciate it. I will be

released with four drains from my hip to hip cut, and am worried about what

type of clothing I will be able to wear even on the drive home. Thanks in

advance!
