I've been on clonopin (aka klonopin, clonazepam) for about 10 years.

Klonopin is an effective, long-acting tranzuilizer that releases very slowly

into your system and builds up, so you don't get an immediate narcotic

effect, making it less susceptible to abuse. It has been a good drug for

me, but is highly physically addictive. Over the past year, I have tapered

off, under my psych's guidance, at 1/2 table every 3 months. I actually

really felt the effects of the last drop in dosage. Almost off for now,

though.

I doubt very, very seriously that clonopin has anything to do with appetite,

but that's just my experience.
