Guest guest
Hello all, Sorry I havent posted in awhile. I have been really busy. My baby daughter was in the hospital the Friday before Christmas. I have had problems keeping things down. I eat very little and eat it very slowly. I am still in the the prosess of finding out what I can eat with solids. I did well at first and now whatever I try to eat I maybe able to eat 2 very small bites of something and it comes right back up. I can only drink very little for it comes back up also. I go to the Dr on Monday and have the endioscope done. To have my esophagus stretched. It has tightened on me. Bit I can say that I have went from 220 to 185 in six wks. Will keep you posted... 11/18/03 220/185/120? Dr Dyas Mobile AL

Guest guest
, I'm so sorry you had to spend time at the hospital with your baby. Is she okay now? I had surgery the same day as you, so ready this, before I got to the end, I thought " this isn't right " . So I was relieved that you'd see the doctor on Monday and have it taken care of. I know little about this, but have heard others that had to have this done more than once. My cousins' daughter has had to have this done many times due to cancer, vomiting, etc. She's only 30, but an absolute delight. She looks at these as just speed bumps in the road, and then you get over them. I wish you luck on Monday. Is the " fix " immediate? Hope so, and you'll be back on the road to healthy eating. Wonderful weight loss too! Congrats! Joan LAP RNY 11/18/03 Dr. Higa, Fresno, CA 282pre-op/275surg/241/140 Been awhile since Ive posted Hello all, Sorry I havent posted in awhile. Guest guest
h, I wish I could push it forward for you, but I waited a long time and thought the day would never be here, and then all of a sudden it was here! From the time I saw the surgeon, it was about 6 weeks to surgery, all depends on hospital, surgeon's schedule, and before that the insurance company. I'm so sorry you're having such a hard time walking. Don't give up! Each day is one step closer. Get on here as much as you need, vent when you need to. Many of us have had real problems walking. After the surgery, it just gets better. Happy New Year's to you too! Looks like you have lost a lot of weight here.(congradulations!) I go see my surgeon for the first time on March 9th, I only wish it was tomorrow, because I feel so awful, can't barely walk. Its such a struggle. Sometimes I just want to give up on everything. Happy New years!!! A friend h h
