Guest guest
O dear God the nerves..and excitement.....the surgery doesn't scare me, it's all the hard work afterwards that does. Saw the nutritionist yesterday and she had some really cool ideas. One of the awesome things about her is she is a patient of my doctor. She had the surgery done 4 years ago so she understands everything that you can feel. She suggested getting a can of soup and doing arm curls from day one to tone your upper arms cause plastic surgery there is not fun. She also got excess skin under her chin and went to a plastic surgeon about that. The surgeon told her to get the least expensive anti wrinkle cream and massage it into her face and neck each evening, upward motions on the face and circular motions on her neck. Doing that for a couple of months got rid of the " turkey wattle " and she said if she had done this from the beginning she wouldn't have gotten it. Advice I'm going to take and I thought other's might be interested too.

Guest guest
Goodness, the 5th is just around the corner. I always get good bumps when someone gets close, because for me that was such a turning point. I wish you the best. I love your tips about exercise for the upper arms, and face & neck help. Sometimes I think I'm fighting a losing battle with this stuff because I'm " old " haha. When I was 37 I lost 112# on a liquid diet, and everything was fine with my skin. Unfortunately soon I gained it back plus another 30#. But 14 years later, I feel like I'm hanging everywhere. I know expensive fixes won't be in my budget, so really appreciate any help that I can get. I'm very willing to do the work. I'm tuckered out. Have my 1-1/2 year old granddaughter. She ran us ragged today, but she was pretty good. She got in grandpa's lap, and conked out in a matter of minutes. So, I'd better get off here soon so I can sleep while she sleeps. She tends to get up by 5:00 a.m. when she's here.
