Hi,

i called purpleemu.com's inquiry line today, and the woman suggested

the AR blemish cream even when i told her i had no pustules/papules.

from what ive read on the archives it seems that people have reported

success only when they have redness along with the p & p's (isnt that

why its called blemish cream? ) im confused..i had called originally

to ask whether emu oil was apprpriate for rosacea and she seemed

hesitant and recommended the AR cream instead. also, looking at the

ingredients there are quite a few ingredients like arnica and camphor

in AR cream. (ouch, just thinking of that stings my face)

so..for those of you who have pinkness and flushing/burning etc. but

no real pustules/papules, is the emu oil effective in reducing

dryness, flakiness, or helping to calm down the inflammation? (a

Begoun's book says emu oil acts as an anti-inflammatory but is by no

means a miracle cure or anything) . it seems from the website that

emu oil is often used for muscle pain etc . since it seems to draw

things deeper into the skin into the muscles(is that good or bad? ? )

it seems like a mixed bag. advice!! thanks!
