Q for the vetrans--when is ALL the swelling gone

I will be 6 weeks post op this wednesday. I had both upper and lower

jaws worked on. More work was done on the left side of my face and

that is the side that continues to swell the most. I'm just wondering

how long can the swelling possibly last?? Really, I thought it be

gone in one month. I know this can vary alot across individuals...but

I would be very interested get some feedback on this. At least to

know the worst case scenarios, so I can expect it to definetely be

gone by then.
