I don't know the details of what happened or why. Honestly it's not my

business. Let's remember that it's not easy to moderate a group this size

and give Lori a break. She's always nice and a reasonable person and let's

face we don't know the whole story.

I don't think it was because of gelatin. I believe what happened (I am

guessing here from the e-mails I read) that Lori sent a private e-mail to

Mandy asking her to consider taking the gelatin thread off line. Now some

of you may have been interested and others may not have been interested. I

suspect there were some who were annoyed by it (Let's face it there were

alot of them) and complained off-line to Lori and that is why she asked them

to consider moving it.

However Mandy took offense and sent a (In my humble opinion) scathing

response to Lori on-line. That was not appropriate. Don't get me wrong I

like Mandy but I personally felt she was out of line. I suspect it spiraled

from there off-line and that is why she was removed.

I do not understand about Joan because I thought she was " Being attacked "

rather than being an " attacker " . Hopefully this can be reconciled and she

can come back.

But before another flame war breaks out let's all remember we are here to

support each other and that includes Lori.
