Yes, my friend, I did read your post carefully.

I had a 5 mm advancement, and required 3 mm movement to the side, as

well, lower jaw only. Hardly, I would suggest, " an extreme case. "

The only thing " extreme " about it was that I most likely would have

lost my teeth to periodontic troubles because of my " destructive

bite, " or at least so says my periodontist.

I repeat, I would never push this surgery on someone who does not

want it, but I do think there are many more satisfied patients than

otherwise. I do also sincerely regret that you feel the surgery

was " silly " and that you are not pleased with your outcome.
