Guest guest
well folks, i finally went to see a therapist today! this is the first person in the " medical " field that ive truly liked and felt comfortable expressing my feelings to (including derms, allergists, gastroenterologists, acupuncturists, and chinese herbalists) she was very understanding and has had experience with rosaceans before. she even knew about laser therapy ,which impressed me quite a bit. she is a certified biofeedback practitioner and hypnotherapist (and told me she has helped many people cure their blushing problems),and im going to be going once a week. funny, when we shook hands (mine were ice cold as usual) she told me later that she was thinking " wow this girl needs biofeedback " . hopefully i can get some of my blood flowing into my hands and feet rather than my face. even when its 90 degrees out and my face is a tomato my extremities are still cold. so first we're going to do biofeedback, then move on to hypnotherapy, and finaly some cognitive therapy to sort out my emotional issues. anyway, i started crying within like 2 minutes of talking to her but of course she didnt mind. i even showed her dr. nase's book. anyway, the best part of the therapy office is that its not " office-y " ..the whole consultation center is located in a house-type building, including a kitchen and everythgin where we can help ourselves to drinks, and a comfortable living room which serves as the waiting area. hm..the second best part is that they accept my dad's insurance so its only $31 a session instead of $125. yipee. i actually have high hopes about something for once.
