Okay, I finally posted a few pictures. I wanted to wait till the

swelling subsided, but it appears that may take a while... if you look

closely you'll notice the swelling makes my face uneven.

I had a 9mm overjet before braces. After 10 months in braces my

overjet was only about 5mm. Basically, I had lower jaw advancement to

correct a 5mm overjet.

I truly believe that i would have been happy with the 5mm overjet and

should have avoided the surgery. However, i'm not sure if that was an

option...
