Guest guest
I had my upper GI with small bowel follow through. They sent a " preliminary " report stating that there was stenosis in the small bowel and somethiing else...not really sure what she was saying. It sounds like it is at the surgical site where the bowel reconnects. I have an appointment with a surgeon on Monday to take a look at the issues and make a plan. I am on a liquid diet until we figure this out LUCKY ME!! OK, tell me if I am crazy or not, but I am going to go to a different surgeon for suggestions. Don't get me wrong, I really like my bypass surgeon, but I like my plastic surgeon better. And if something needs to be done surgically with this stenosis (vs being done by endoscopy) then I want one that can do it at the same time as my abdominoplasty that is scheduled for the end of the month. My plastic surgeon and my bypass surgeon do not have privledges at the same hospitals. This surgeon was recomended by my plastic surgeon, who's opinion I greatly respect. I feel bad that I am not going back to my bypass surgeon, but I would feel worse getting a different plastic surgeon. whine whine whine, it's just one of those decisions that I wish I did not have to make, but do. I will let you all know what I find out after my appointment on Monday.
