Still having problems picking an OS!!!

I just met with an OS I was leaning towards doing my surgery. I

dropped off X-rays and stuff three weeks ago for him to review. I

was expecting to have a treatment plan and that he spoke with my

Ortho. I got the feelings that he didnt look at the info i sent

until today when i was in his office and he didnt speak with my

Ortho yet concerning my case. I was told that i would need only

lower jaw surgery, when couple of weeks ago he said i possiable

would need upper and lower surgery. He answered some of my

questions, but i left confused and unsure about the appointment.

When i asked where do we go from hear he told me to go ahead and get

my braces. That he would know better what type of surgery i would

need once my teeth start moving. I thought that i would have a

treatment plan before i got the braces put on. When I expressed my

concerns that I have a large tongue and lower jaw surgery would make

my mouth smaller. I asked would i have room for my tongue with the

size of my mouth and would it help my speach or hurt it? He

dismissed my concerns by saying my tongue isnt that large and then

made a joke about how many women would love a guy with a large

tongue. I found it to be every unprofessional and crass, i just put

on a smile on and kept asking more questions. I need to know if its

normal not to have a treatment plan before braces? I'm also angry

with my Ortho because he told me that he would call this OS but he.

didnt. I feel very confused and depressed about this whole thing, I

need this surgery for alot of reasons , going through this finding a

doctor phase has been difficult, I could use any info or insight and

experience with this. I live in Northern VA outside of DC any

recommendations for an OS will be greaty appreciated. Thank you all.
