Guest guest
Hey Sandy! That's the weather we have been having for the last 3 days! Yesterday the windchill was at 11 degrees. We had high winds and thunderstorms on Wednesday which had 90 mile an hour winds. South and east of us had significant damage, they are estimating it over 1 million dollars. There are still people without electricity. It started snowing on Thursday, still a few flurries this morning but nothing that stayed on the ground. Janice ran in the regional cross country meet to day and the team qualified to race at the state finals next weekend - can we all say GO COMETS! She's having a great time with hit. Tomorrow morning she leaves to go caving with her geology class in WIsconsin. They are camping out - hope it warms up, it is suppose to get up to 50 tomorrow. Take care all! Guest guest
, We really didn't have any accumulation. My husband was called out last night but he said he only had to drop the plow once. And that wasn't really anything. The ground is still to warm to stick. It's still spitting snow today. Guest guest
Well....it wasn't much of anything...just on the rooftops! I was thinking we wouldn't get anything this year, and spoil our record of snow every year for the past 7 years! We did get some in December, but nothing stuck. Then, we get a dumping on the day I'm out of town! I do love the occasional dusting that we get up here near Buckley. Sometimes we get a bunch. This year is going to be tough sledding though! Unless we get some in March or April, which is usually when we get the most. I thought you guys were in Spanaway...Graham huh? Whaddaya know! Take care of yourself...so glad all came out fine for you. I have a buddy going in on the 24th, Dr. Oh is going to do him, and he is supposed to have about 30 lbs removed. He's kinda nervous about it, but I think he will do fine. Regards~ > Jacque > Distal RNY, 5/30/00 > Drs. Fox and Oh > 310~127 > Beginning BMI 50.0 > Current BMI 20.4 > Jacque - I'm totally jealous!!! I figured this would be our no-snow year! But guess this was a countable snowfall, since it was on everyone's rooftops. Lots of cars were covered too. Ah well, you know about our microclimates here in WA. It can snow here, and a few miles up the road, nada! We are right next to Bonney Lake, and we can get snowed in, and Bonney Lake will barely be dusted. Go figure! Regards~ Jacque Distal RNY, 5/30/00 Drs.
