Rejoining and needing support

Hi everyone,

Its been a looooonnng while since I've posted/lurked on this board (1

1/2yrs!) But I've been searching for some peer support for how I've

been feeling lately and what better place?

Anyway, in a nutshell, its coming up on my 3-year anniversary and I'm

really not happy with my success (or lack of it). I started at

~305lbs/5'6 " and at my lowest got to about 178lbs... that was nearly

2 yrs ago. This morning I weighed in at 191lbs. Within the last

year I have gained about 10lbs and it concerns me. Has anyone had a

similar experience? I know what bad habits contribute (going out

partying with my friends, lack of exercise - especially this winter,

where its been brutally cold and I've had no desire to go the gym).

But I'm not really do THAT bad... I don't graze, overeat, or even eat

sugary/carb things on a regular basis. But it seems that once I

started getting concerned about the weight gain - it came on. Sounds

nuts, but I really am confused.

I'd love to hear from others and see how they got through the slump.

My ideal goal would be to lose another 30lbs and I just need some

help/support to kick-start it. I'm nearing the dreaded 200lb mark

and that frightens me! I haven't even had a baby yet and want to

have some padding (no pun intended) with the lbs so that I don't

stress during my pregnancy.
