Guest guest
Has anyone ever thought of or had a correction to their nostrils after upper jaw surgery? My nostrils are wider, not the biggest concern, but i wish they were not as wide as they are. they also seem a tad (very little) bit off center. (i know, here she goes again ) Back to teaching, hardly any time to read all posts. Hope everyone is doing simply GREAT. I just noticed today that i rested my jaw on my hand, you know, as you slouch at a table or laying on the floor. felt pretty cool. i remember early post op i wondered if i would ever be able to do that! I am approx 12 weeks post. Now, since i still wear approx 13 bands, i am waiting to have chewing feel normal. i tried a pretzel today and it was touch. i still don;t bite into sandwiches unless it is grilled cheese, PBJ or the like. I think the chewing is directly related to my teeth still being pulled together for my bite and all the movement.
