Guest guest
Hello Barb, I see with pleasure that you can read and understand my english My antivirus is eTrust EZ Antivirus. Yes, I don't thrust any Norton's product They are IMHO too big and often creating more problems than resolving. Worm-virus Win32.Klez.H is well defined by eTrust in the Virus Encyclopedia .. See on page: http://www3.ca.com/virusinfo/Virus.asp?ID=11779 The address spoofing is well explained. The construction of subject and body text are also descripted. And "A WinXP patch" (a recent message on the list) is just given as example. I recommand you eTrust EZ Antivirus. This is not a free antivirus but the price is very affordable for a very good product. First year subscription $19.95. Annual renewal fee $9.95 Compare with Norton Antivirus at $59.95 The updates are continuous and cumulative. See the site for more explanation. http://www1.my-etrust.com/products/Antivirus If you are using Internet Explorer 5 and Outlook Express, consider to download and install IE 6 and apply all the patches provided by Microsoft. With IE 6, you may adjust the parameters to not open potentially dangerous attachements. Personnally, I choosed never to use any browser or mail program of Microsoft. I used Netscape and now Mozilla. They are more secure. I have never got a virus on my computer during the last 8 years. I hope that can help you. Regards, Jean-Claude Barb wrote: Jean Claude I do not speak French but I thoroughly understood your English.
