Guest guest
I hear ya on the meat thing. Beans, cheese, eggs, yogurt, fruit...all fine. ...meats, chicken, tuna, fish...just feel heavy and feel stuck....not good... I am hoping to try them again in the future, but might wait a while to do that.... Tina aka Tunakins <*}}}}>< LAP RNY 10/29/03 316/276/??? ********* I understand your frustration. I had my surgery on Aug. 4th, 2003 and to this day I don't eat much meat at all. It doesn't agree with me, and like you I feel like a ball and sick to my tummy. I eat a lot of beans, chili, cheese right now...also salad. Honestly, I have tried bites of chicken here and there at different times, and EVERY time I eat it, I feel sick....so I just don't eat it, and find other protein sources. (cheese, beans) So...just wanted to tell you that it can be very normal what you are experiencing and just stay positive...and find other foods you CAN eat. I am down 90lbs. in just under five months so far.. and I couldn't be happier...who cares if I can't eat meat! LOL (this coming from a huge steak eater prior to surgery!)
