Maddie,

I am on day 3 now. Last night was the worst so far. Because of the

breathing tube they put in your nose that goes to your throat from

the surgery, you end up getting real stuffed up. And, i have always

had stuffiness/allergies prior so it made it hard for me to breathe

last night and therefore hard to sleep. My pain seems a little worse

today though it could be that the numbness is slightly going away.

Anyhow, the Dr's at Kaiser are great and the people there take real

good care of you. They have called everyday to see how I am doing.

Even though i can't talk! Anyhow, the experience hasn't been all

that bad because i felt pretty prepared for it. Just make sure to

keep your icepacks on as much as possible! Feel free to email me if
